The market is evolving - are you ready?

Between new regulations, rising costs, and an uncertain stock market, 2026 is shaping up to be one of the most unpredictable years investors have seen in a long time. What worked before might not work now - and ignoring what's coming up could cost you big.

The truth is, every investor will feel the impact of these shifts. The difference between those who struggle and those who succeed will come down to one thing: preparation.

That's where this event comes in.

You'll hear from multiple local experts - each breaking down the most important updates in their field that will affect real estate investors in the year ahead. From new tax laws and lending changes to market trends and local policy updates, we're unpacking what's changing and what you can do right now to stay ahead of it.

Change is part of the game - but opportunity comes to those who prepare. Learn how to turn 2026's changes into wins.

Meet the speakers:

Lisa Petersen

REAL ESTATE TRANSACTIONS ARE ABOUT TO LOOK VERY DIFFERENT!  ARE YOU PREPARED?

On March 1, 2026, under Federal Law, certain residential real estate transactions MUST be reported to the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN).

Realtors, Investors, Attorneys and Builders need to know the rules or face financial & criminal penalties for non-compliance.

In this important seminar, we will answer the following questions:

Who must handle the reporting?
What transactions and what information must be reported
Where is the information reported?
When is the information required to be delivered to FinCEN?
Why must transactions be reported to FinCEN?
How will our closings look different?

New Wisconsin Law Regulating
Affidavits of Interest

Wisconsin’s new 2025 Act 32 has changed the game for real estate investors. Under this law, you can no longer file an Affidavit of Interest on a property unless you meet specific legal requirements — particularly those tied to a valid “improvement contract.”

This session will break down exactly what that means, including how the law defines “non-improvement contracts,” what exceptions still apply, and what penalties investors could face for noncompliance.

More importantly, we’ll cover practical tips and strategies for working within these new regulations in 2026 — including creative ways to secure your deals, protect your interests, and stay compliant.

Whether you’re actively buying, wholesaling, or managing projects, this session will help you adapt your approach and avoid costly mistakes under the new law.
